Electronic vs acoustic handpan: which one to choose?

The difference isn’t the gesture — in both cases you play with your hands — but how the sound is produced and what the instrument lets you do around it.

• Sound: acoustic resonates in the air, rich and alive; electronic produces a signal you hear on headphones or speakers, with perfect tuning.
• Headphones / night: only the electronic can be played silently, a real asset in a flat or late at night.
